Positives For

Hi, this doesn't sound right to me: "The positives for my candidacy: …" and then I go on to list those positives.

Is there a different way to say that, possibly replacing the "for" and/or "positives" with something else? Thank you.

I agree that positives for my candidacy is a little colloquial for a formal letter. Perhaps you could say something like The positive factors in support of my candidacy are.... ).

I agree that positives for my candidacy is a little colloquial for a formal letter. Perhaps you could say something like The positive factors in support of my candidacy are.... or In support of my candidacy, I can offer the following positive factors (or qualities, etc.).
