Position of 'only'

Dear teachers,

Would you tell me which sentence is the natural one?

#1 You can only reach the lake on foot.

#2 You can reach the lake only on foot.

Perhaps #1 is the natural one, but I feel #2 sounds natural, and I think many Japanese people

feel like I do.

Sincerely,

Hiroshi

Hello, CJ

Thank you for your advice.

I feel your advice is essentially very important.
