Position of "More"

Which is correct?

Only two days MORE to go!
OR
Only two MORE days to go!

Is "more" here an adverb or an adjective or what???

Of course these are not sentences, so correctness may be moot. Only two days more is more emphatic than Only two more days . Only two more days to go is more emphatic than Only two days more to go .
