Position of adverbs in phrasal verbs

Hello....

Position of adverbs in phrasal verbs is difficult.
And there seem to be no books that deal with this issue.
If there is a book, I’d like to be advised...

I put down some about the position of adverbs in intransitve phrasal verbs.....
I hope to be commented.

(A) They gave in.
-— quickly/slowly
1. Quickly/slowly They gave in.
2. They quickly/slowly gave in.
3. They gave quickly/slowly in.
4. They gave in quickly/slowly.
*****
Here, I feel only 3 is wrong.
If it’s completely, all four are allowed.

Can we say that in intransitive phrasal verbs

(2) The plane took off.
— quickly/slowly
1 The plane 2 took 3 off 4.
*******
Here, I feel only 3 is wrong.
If it’s completely, all four are allowed.

1. Quickly/slowly They gave in. Not great, but possible. More likely with "slowly".
2. They quickly/slowly gave in. OK.
3. They gave quickly/slowly in. NO!
4. They gave in quickly/slowly. Best.
pructusIf it’s completely, all four are allowed.
You might say that, but 3 is still not very good. 1 would be pretty bad, too. And 4 again is best.
