Position of adverb

#1 He slept soundly last night.(not soundly slept)

#2 He is wise enough to allow her son to go. (not enough wise)

#3 He is always satisfied. (not He always is satisfied He is satisfied always)

#4 I rarely drive above 60 mph.(not drive rarely)

#5 The baby generally wakes up three times a week. (not wakes up generally)

All these sentence are correct and adverb is placed in right place. But the place of "adverb" always makes me confuse. Are there any proper rules that states where adverb should be positioned?
