Position of Adv

Dear all.

My question is about the position of an adverb. For instance:

- I am slowly walking on the street.

- I am waking on the street slowly.

Which sentence sounds better and is it ok if I put "slowly" at the beginning (it look strange, I think so)?

Thanks for your help.
