Posh accent!

Hi Sally,
I'm sure there are some classes in the UK to teach actors some British accents. But I don't really know what a "posh accent" is, I'm not an expert on accents, especially British accents. Is that "posh accent" the same as RP, received pronunciation? Is it Stewie Griffin's accent? I don't know what kind of accent that kid has, but it sure sounds funny to me!

Yep, sorry, I know "posh English" is a kind of "high class English", I meant I don't know how it sounds...
It seems it's not really RP (Received Pronunciation, a kind of accent), so I don't know who really speaks "posh", and where they speak so. I also wonder what kind of accent Stewie Griffin (from "Family Guy") has...

Why do you want to learn to speak like someone you are not! People who are posh are those who are born into the upper elite, have gone to good schools, well-educated and have social grace and manners. Those are all the qualities that define what is means to be posh and have natural posh accent. It isn't just learning to speak posh, it everything else that goe with it!
