Pose a question for relative, adj, adv, noun clause ?

Dear friends and teacher,
I'm so confused to make a question for a noun clause or adj clause ... like : I talked to the girl I'd met yesterday, this is just a simple example. There are some complex sentences which make me so confused.
Can you show me where the rule is, how to make it ? Thank you so much,
