Poppa and proper coffee

Hi!

Please, what's the meaning of "Poppa" in the following tongue twister (is it just the name of someone ?)

- Poppa, Poppa picked a pot of peas.

And "proper coffee" ?

Thank you,

Yuka

I think it's just an invented name (I've heard of Pippa but not Poppa). Real coffee - not instant.

More common, I believe, is "Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers".
