It is argued that spending on ways and highways is more substantial than urban transport service. From my point of view, I partly agree with this statement which will be discussed below.
On the one hand, building highways and roads facilitates in a number of fields. Initially, in terms of tourism, tourists are often afraid about to go to areas with poor traffic due to the fact that it waste their time. As a result, it will indirectly impact on reputation, which is declined margin profit of tourism businesses gradually. Subsequently, in goods transportation, if pathway is not developed, the shipment will be suffered, which can have adverse affect to goods quality. For example, several commodities having a limited time to preserve such as fresh food, if it does not ship punctually, the quality will be decreased or even stale that will be eliminated all of it, which can cause a great money loss as well as customers demands are interrupted.
On the other hand, better public transport systems are beneficial for dwellers who do not have a private vehicle or just want to save their budget. Firstly, interior transportation would like to be crowded if it were not supported by public mean of transportation such as bus, railway trains and others. Secondly, inhabitants might save a large amount of money in budget when utilizing general transport not as like as the personal one. For instance, with unstable price status currently, when inflation has been growing than ever, as well as energy for automobiles such as petrol and oil were higher. Thus, it is completely appropriate for citizens wanting to save their money when moving around urban area.
In conclusion, it is equally imperative that developing for both motorways and public transportation. All types have its own issues, which are only solved by owns ways.
