Excessive usage of gadgets surely has its own negative effects on the writing skills of students. If young students indulge in text messaging or chatting, they are increasingly coming into contact with slang verbiage and forgetting the tenets of formal written language. While writing text messages, they don’t pay attention to the emphasis on spelling, punctuation, and grammar. That is the leading cause of poor writing skills of students.
