Poor expression

Fighting battle with author. I say following is incomprehensible babble. Any opinion?

Harry was that way with his life, too. Everything was

right there up front and center, open doorways as he

navigated through a conversation from one topic to the

next, all meshing together.

I don't find it incomprehensible. It's certainly a use of a lot of words to get a point across, but I think the point is made.

I would add the commas in pink. I would actually delete the "open doorways" too beause that metaphor isn't telling me much.

But I get what he means. I know people like this.
