polysemy vs. homonymy

Could you please explain me the difference between polysemy and homonymy?

I think that homonymy = one word has different unrelated meanings: bank (river), bank (financial institution)

polysemy = one word has several related meanings:
head (humans' body), head (of a company) = always something on the TOP so there is a relation between these meanings.

or

foot (human's body), foot (a table)

Am I right?

Sorry for my English. I'm learing Emotion: wink
