Poll: do you listen to podcasts?

We're thinking about starting a podcasted radio show. This is where you record your show, upload it onto the Internet, and invite iPod users to download it and listen to it on their iPods.

The problem is, our folks think only 14-year-old boys use iPods.

IIRC, a number of you have iPods, and are no longer teeners. Have you ever listened to a podcast? What's your guess about the demographics of those who do?

I don't hang around 14 year olds as a rule (other than with my son), but the people i know who have and love ipod are in their 20's and 30's. I h

Anyone who thinks that iPods are only used by teenagers hasn't been to NY or LA in the past year.

I use an iPod. My writing partner also uses an iPod.

Apple's sold something like 10 Million iPods. Most of those are in the US.

I haven't used my for listening to podcasts yet. I'm not saying I won't... I just haven't. My writing partner often captures the KCRW's live feeds and listens to those shows on his iPod later, however.

Have an iPod and use it all the time. I have a stack of about 20 classic rock albums next to me I'm adding to my digital library tonight. Have never bothered with a podCast. The thing is, unless it's a great stand-up routine,

Surprisingly, I don't have any version of "Cattle Call"

But how about I match your "Cattle Call" with "Wolverton Mountain" and raise you "Little Nash Rambler"?

While driving in my cadillac, what to my surprise...

"Wolverton Mountain" I know, and I remember something about "Little Nash Rambler," but, to my shame, I don't have it.

But I'll match your "Wolverton Mountain," with David Lind
