Poll: Bananas

0For reasons too silly to go into, I want to know which end you start peeling a banana from. So, when you are peeling a banana by hand, no knife or other tools, do you start by opening it at the stalk end or the non-stalk end? There is money riding on this! thanks. Country of origin would be a nice little additional touch too if you don't mind.0-

I always peel bananas at the stalk end.

Guess what, I just asked my wife and two kids and they said they do the same. Is it genetic, I wonder?

Reminds me of Gulliver’s Travels and the war of the Lilliputians over which end an egg should be broken from.

Yes it reminded me of that too - and it's happening in my kitchen!
