Political orientation of newspapers in the US

In America, are some newspapers more republican other more democratic? : Democratic newspapers, republican newspapers,

for example the political orientation of the french newspaper "le figaro" is republican, in wikipedia under politcal alignment it says "centre droite" meaning republican.

How would you phrase these sentences please? Which is the correct way to say this?

Are some newspapers more republican other more democratic?
This newspaper is more republican.
This newspaper is more pro republican.
This newspaper is written from the republican perspective.
