Politely fat

How to describe a person as fat in a polite way? I want to say that someone is fat, but not so much, that looks cute to me, and I do not want to be rude. What adjective should I use?

I think you'd be best praising general health.
If you want to focus on fatness, mention, as part of a general discussion on health without reference to her, how you've endeavoured to keep fat down, things you yourself could be trying, and why you're doing it.

"cuddly" is possible as a euphemism, but best to only say this to someone who you are fairly intimate with.

I was also going to suggest "curvy" as a euphemism.
