Polarity

There is no light, without darkness;
no life, without death.
There is no sound, without silence;
and no worst, without best.

There is no healing, without wounding;
no loss, without gain.
There is no winning, without losing;
no joy, without pain.

There is no dawn, without darkness;
no love, without fear.
There is no giving, without taking;
no far, without near.

There is no war, without peace;
no time, without end.
There is no beginning, without conclusion;
no enemy, without friend.

There is no empty, without full;
no wrong, without right.
There is no longing, without fulfillment;
no black, without white.

There is no past, without present;
no future, without past.
There is no young, without old;
no first, without last.

Nope, my Mom wrote it and published it.

However, I would imagine there is probably a song which plays with opposites similar to the poem.

But this one is an original.

Little grammar
by M. Radnoti
" I am Me to myself,
and to you I am always You,
and to you You are Me to yourself,
You say You do, when I do.
And together we are us,
but unly if I accept that too."
