Poison or Poisoned

Hi

Could you please tell me which of the sentences is better?

He shot a poisoned arrow into the animal's leg.
He shot a poison arrow into the animal's leg.

They bought a king-sized bed.
They bought a king-size bed.

Thanks,

Tom

PS: I don't think 'two-bedroomed apartment' would work at all?

The forms without "ed" are generally better in this configuration. Of your examples with "ed", only "poisoned" seems all right with me. CJ

Thanks, CJ.

I saw 'king-sized headache' somewhere, so I decided to ask. But it could be a typo.

Well, of course, you can see all kinds of variants everywhere. They're not necessarily wrong.
