Point threshold

Hi,

Let's say that you need to get a certain amount of points to be allowed to sit for the final exam of your course, but you're only getting enough points to scrape through so far. Would this work?

"I'm barelly hanging in the middle of the minimum point threshold so far." (I have 10 points, but I need 20.)

I know that I can say it differently, but I'm asking specifically about 'minimum point threshold'.

Thank you. Emotion: smile

Ann225 minimum point threshold Sorry, but if someone used this expression in a conversation with me, I'd be left talking to myself. I would have no idea what it meant. In your situation I'd expect someone to say they had only about half the number of points they needed.

What do you mean by points? Do you mean marks?

If not, how do you get points?

The red part is superfluous.
