Point out

Sir,

Don't point out your finger(fingers) at others.

First, should I use "your finger" or "your fingers"?

As,I know that one meaning of "point out" is "to make aware to sb". But particular in this sentence what is meaning of "point out".

The correct sentence is "Don't point your finger at others." Generally in pointing we point with only one finger.

If I point out your finger, I am using my own finger to point at your finger!
