Point is uncoutable noun???

In this sentence,

"At some point, you have to realize that some people can stay in your heart but not in your life".

Q1) Can I write "At some ports",not "at some point"?
Q2) What is the meaning of "at some point"? Is it the same as "from some viewpoints"?
