I'm a homeschooled child and was practicing for my English 12 exam. This is a practice test question, so I wanted some insight. This test is mainly on analyzing literature. I am not trying to take the easy way out. Why would i do that? I just want to construct a good understanding of pastoral poetry.

This is what I have so far:

* It's a love poem, it says contentment to me.

* soothing, clean ritual robes, fragrence of incence, wine to the palate when taken with bread, unhurried, quiet affection and peace.

*The examples she uses to make comparisons are ones of a pampered person, so I think she comes from an affluent family.

* Love is timle
