I copied these verses from a song. Is there a name for this constant repetition of "burnin', glowing , smokin' etc", which gets intensified at each next iteration.
And the mercy seat is waitin'
And I think my head is burnin'
And in a way I'm yearning To be done with all this weighing of the truthAn eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth and anywayI told the truth and I'm not afraid to die

Thank you , BW. "epistrophe" or "epiphora" or "antistrophe" . "parachesis" also seems to be present there in the song.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parachesis )
