PlzCorrectMe: short writing about DVD

DVD (Digital Versatile Disk) is an optical storage that is similar by size and thickness to Compact Disks but its capacity is more. For instance DVD can hold complete high quality movie. Another difference is that DVD drives use blue laser instead of red laser that CD drives use. Blue laser has shorter wavelength than red one i.e. data can be stored denser. DVD can be double-sided. Each side can have two layers top layer with 4.7GB capacity and bottom layer with 3.8GB. These disks can provide totally 17GB space. Data transfer rate of these DVD’s is twice of CD-ROM.
