Dear Sir or Madam;
I am writing to apply for the Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) programme, in which I am particularly interested.
"Far and away the best prize that life offers is the chance to work hard at work worth doing", said Theodore Roosevelt. I came to understand that if I had clear goals and worked hard, I could clarify my own vision and direct the path of my life. There are many projects I have for myself in the future, and going to this esteemed university is one of them.
This program has interested me because of its international exposure, global reputation, course content, strong alumni network & location.
I completed my Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy in July 2006, from XXX, JCI-accredited Apollo Hospitals Hyderabad (India), which are the largest group of corporate hospitals in Asia. Thereafter visualizing my clinical exposure & business potential, I established my own specialized clinical setup at my home town. I further decided to upgrade my professional knowledge, and I did my Post Graduate Diploma in Geriatrics Care (PGDGC) and then went for the Master degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2008 (part-time).I'm practicing as a Consultant Physiotherapist & Rehabilitaionist and my business , is prospering progressively. I've organised & was a resourse person and organising secretary of Conference POTCON-2007, (with a strength of 5000 participants, across the state of UP,India).I'm registered with Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP); participated in several programmes related to HIV/AIDS/Health awareness in college,arrange regular Bone Health & Nerve Health camps at my clinic, with outstanding outcomes.
I have exceptional extra-curricular approach like Sports (Badminton), extempore, cultural activities, sketching, motivation speaker, asst editor of the debut edition of college magazine-'acp speaks', etc. My personal characteristics like sound managerial approach, excellent communication and inter-personal skills,clarity of vision, and prospective teamwork with leadership abilities, match the skills required in this area of work
After attaining enterpreneural experience of more than three years, in healthcare sector, managing patients and undertaking problem solving for my clients , I have developed a strong understanding of human behaviour and analytical skills.
The next step I’m thinking of, is to have a professional business management training and your globally recognised & internationally accredited MBA program can help me to do that through its world-class business teachings and business environment in general which I think is a must for achieving the best outcomes of my life.
I firmly believe that MBA opens doors and provides the modern manager with the tools needed to identify new business opportunities and threats. With all the uncertainty and changes in with world, political, economic, and technological, I believe that management must have a solid understanding, supported by a strong academic foundation, of how to guide companies through these challenging times. And I am confident that the MBA programme offered by your reputed University will provide me the knowledge, confidence, and contacts to realize my dreams.
After completing the MBA Programme, I plan to continue my education and obtain a Ph.D. in Management. My objective is to become a faculty member at a leading university and investigate issues concerned with Management as it affects organizational strategy, structure, and systems. I also have strong interest in working as a consultant in healthcare management.
Thank you very much for considering my request. I look forward to your positive response.
Sincerely yours,
Dr YYY
