Are There Any Significant Experiences You Have Had Or Accomplishments You Have Realized That Have Helped To Define You As a Person

I have been walking on the way of life for 22 years. With every things I encountered and every steps I made, these experiences made me today. No matter they are good or not.,I can grew though the failures and learned from the mistakes. Then, I realized that being a person is a challenge of life.

I studied in a countryside elementary school and I could not able to keep up to other students when I entered the junior high. Remember the time, I did not learn well in class. When I had my first math class, it was a raining day in the afternoon and my seat was sat by the windows. I was very dissapointed about myself because I was always doing good in elementary school. At that age, I was not brave enough to face my frustration. Instead of giving effort, I started cutting class and everything went worse than ever after that.. How worse was it? My mother was asked to come to school almost every day because of my behavior and I was hardly able to graduate from school.

While the high school entrance test was coming, I found that I had wasted 2 years and that was the last year to prepare for the examination. It made me introspected what I had done, and I realized my behavior did not only effects me but also my classmates and my family. Everything did not just concern about myself, so I had to make myself better. I should do what I was supposed to do. But it was too late, I did not enter a good high school. However, I did not give up. I studied hard in high school and I received the scholarships from school every year since grade two. To pay off my mistake, I donated all of them to the charities. Aside from academic, I became a member of the caring league in school where I took care the elderly living alone every week.

Now, I would say that things help to define me as a person are creating value of myself and devoting myself to the society. I have worked for few years in my family buisness which sets up both in Taiwan and the Philippines. I think that my ability right now is not enough and there are still much to learn, so that I am applying for @@@@@ University to make myself a better person and serve more people.
