plz help to assess my essay.

Question: if you were given 6 months to live, write the 3 thing you would do before your death.

Illnesses are inevitable. Some of the illnesses manifest itself at an earlier stage where it can be cured while certain illness does not. I have seen many of my friends facing death unexpectedly. Whether death is a result of an accident or due to the debilitating effect of an illness, its imminence cannot be anticipated. One should always be prepared to face death and therefore should live life to the fullest .If I was given 6 months to live, I would definitely take some time to come to terms with the news. However,I would like to tidy up my affairs and do the things that I always wanted to do.

I have always wanted to do extreme sports. All along, I was too busy with my work that I had no time to try any of them. I would love to try to do bungee-jumping. it is exciting but risky. I feel that bungee-jumping is an expression of freedom. I can have all the freedom to see the surroundings without obstruction and perceive it with my own imaginations. Since I am left with few months to live, I should not bother on the risky issue as any injury that I shall sustain will be only endured for next 6 month.

Another thing that I would love to do is to be a volunteer in a hospice. As my life gets nearer to its end, I would like to see how others who are dying cope with the fact. Encouraging words should be exchanged and I should gladly help them to understand their sicknesses and why death is its result.

One last thing is to prepare for my funeral. I would like a have a professional photo shoot of myself to be used as a portrait for my hearse. It can be used for my obituary as well. I would write a beautiful poem about my life and have it delivered during my eulogy from my father. Aside from selecting my coffin, the hearse and other arrangements, I would encourage my relatives and friends not to cry during my last journey. I will tell them,” death is not an end; it’s the beginning of my new life in god’s kingdom”.
