00I am hereby applying for a scholarship to pursue an MSc in Finance & Accounting at your esteemed university for the 2008 September entry. 02br

00I am taking this step as the culmination of a long process of my life in which I have placed the right education as the key of success for my career. Having a scientific curriculum up to my graduate studies (where I obtained a bachelor degree in general science), I have immediately realized the need for a more adapted diploma to meet the job market requirement. Hence, I switched to a totally different field of studies to obtain an MBA degree in finance where I gained 00essential knowledge and skills in such fields as management, marketing, accounting, and finance. And my present job as an incubator manager opens opportunities towards practical competence about these concepts. Nevertheless, I still crave to undertake more challenges in order to reach the highest level of proficiency possible for me.02br

00My objective is to focus my managerial knowledge and skills to the one field of business – Finance & Accounting. 00And I believe that pursuing an MSc in Finance & Accounting in a renowned university such as 00 will certainly sharpen my knowledge toward these competencies for the best benefit of my country and myself alike. Combined with my accumulated academic and professional experience, an MSs in Finance & Accounting will make me a valuable employee for every bank and corporation. This is particularly true in a developing country like 010200 where the need for higher competencies is dearly needed in the dawn of the globalization era. 01span00After completing my MSc program, my goal is to contribute to the economic development of my country either as a financial analyst for big enterprises or as a consultant for SMEs, because the program offers tools to master the internal accounting procedures as well as financing issues; all of which supports 02span00entrepreneurial activity and hence promotes economic activity. 02br

00But in the absence of financial support in the form of a scholarship, it would be virtually impossible for me to enroll in the program for two main reasons. For one, my modest salary combined with high expenses to meet my previous studies bank loan repayment consumes all my monthly income. Second, the recent death of my father excludes the possibility of having the support of my family, especially knowing that the family income comes from agriculture which was negatively impacted by the severe drought in the country. 00 02br
