In spite of the limitation of life, love is eternal and ubiquitous for its being the central theme of human being. Since we came into the world, our lives are destined to be closely interwoven with love, an indispensable component of our life. From cradles to graves, we are not alone, but accompanied by love, maybe from our parents, our friends and the society.

Since we came into the world, the first sight of the environment makes us uncomfortable and insecure. Only when we were held into mother’s arms, sensed the warmth of her and listen to the beating of her heart, could we feel ease and comfortable. Why does it work? Because children can grow up regularly on the condition that they could sense the love and support from the unfamiliar environment. Otherwise, they would probably go on the wrong track. Therefore, to children, the deprivation of love will, to some extent, lead to the hindrance of growth, both mentally and physically. Recalling our childhood, the images that call up into our mind is most likely parents’ kiss and embrace, friendship between the buddies and so on, which serves as the evidence of the indispensable of love plays in our childhood.

As we grow older and older, we gradually learn to live on our own and develop ourselves as individuals. The arrival of the adulthood does not mean that love is withering away, but instead, we further sense the meaning of love and cherish it from the bottom of our hearts. And we are reluctant to be only the receivers of love, but a giver of love as well. After being parents, we come to realize the constant efforts our parents made to bring us up and are determined to repay them with our love. Besides, after entering the society, we come to know the importance of mutual trust and mutual support between social members. That is to say, if we are willing to support and help each other and attempts to make contribution to our society, it will become more stable and more harmonious.

Every flower will wither away eventually, so it is with human being. Ultimately, the senility is approaching. Our body cannot be as strong as before and our brains work more slowly than ever. However, we still can be rewarded by the satisfaction that care and support our children offers, for example, a small gift our children bring or an evening in the company of friends will make us satisfied and happy to our hearts’ content. Old-aged signs would not block the way we enjoy the sweetness of life in that love is the elixir of youth.

Living in the world, we are bound to taste the bitterness and sweetness of life, maybe that is something about fate, however, what we can do for our own part is to love and to be loved. No matter what kind of life stage we are at, our life is bathed in love. Therefore, let us free our hearts to be both a receiver and giver of love, which will better our life and make our life more meaningful.
