Of course, players who are addiction to MMORPG still eating, drinking, and sleeping, but they’re eating and drinking in front of computer, and sleeping few hours a day. Players conversation with friends in the game, and kidding with them, play around with them, but they are face to computer and talk to a real person who they never meet. More friends they have in the game will affect player harder to give up the game. In the MMORPG people who are addiction have same subject to talk with each other. In real life, if players talk about game to their parents, only thing their parents will tell them is “game is no helpful to your life.” And talk to real life friends they got no idea what his talking about. In the real life parents and friends don’t care about how you powerful in the virtual world, they only care about real world. If long period people near player don’t care about what they doing, player may think they don’t respect them, and player will think virtual world friend are more care about them, which will causes gamer relationship between real world familys and friends, and plsyer even can get more deep addiction to the game. Liz Woolley her son was deep addiction to the game, she report: “He was getting withdrawn, he wouldn’t listen to me. We were fighting and I became the bad person…trying to keep him away from his enjoyment. If I’d just leave him alone he’d be happy” (Wendy). More important is long period play MMORPG may causes players physically problems, like eye disease, bad posture, hurting hands, and computer stress injuries. For example, prolonged play computer can cause you short-sighted because computer screen have kinds of radiation can hurt you eyes.
