Pluralizing "Sorry"

"I'm tired of all the sorry's!" he exclaimed.

Is it okay to pluralize "sorry" like that, since "sorrys" and "sorries" don't exist?

Thanks.

Hello, You wouldn't usually pluralise sorry like that. It would be better to say, "I'm tired of all the appologies!"

It's a character saying that, though, so it's not formal writing.

None of them exists in the dictionaries that I checked, but 'sorries' seems by far the best option to me. It follows the rule we know, so it will be the least noticeable coinage.

"You can stuff your sorries in a sack, mister."

I'd write 'I'm tired of all the sorrys!' like I'd write 'Say three Hail Marys'.
