Pluralization of "Never, ever."

Hello,

Suppose you read an interview where the interviewee answers a number of questions with the same phrase "Never, ever."
Being fairly knowledgeable on the subject, you want to object to all his answers of that kind. That will require pluralizing the quoted phrase, won't it?
But how do I do that? Shoud I put an 's' after the quotation mark?
- I object to Mr X's "Never, ever."s.

That looks a little odd to me. Are there alternatives?

Thanks a lot for your help.
H.
