The director was British, and he stopped shooting when he heard "yutes" because he didn't know what the actor was saying. That's how the scene got in the movie; it wasn't in the script. Or so I

If we're talking about the same movie, the judge reacts to it. So if that's the case, it was a great ad-lib scene.
