PLURAL OR SINGULAR PART2

a. Making expedient decisions and being flexible go/ goes hand in hand.

b. Smoking and Drinking is/ are bad for health.

c. Writing and speaking is/ are significant.

d. Burping or slurping your soup in public make/makes people think you're not well-educated.

Which one is correct? Should they be treated as singular or plural?

Could you please give me some other examples?
