Plural Or Singular

The delinquency rates on mortgages for office buildings, hotels, shopping malls, and other commercial properties held by the nation’s insurance companies have increased sharply in recent months
, leading to predictions that foreclosures on these types of loans could double over the next three years.

Will the meaning of above sentence change if I change these types of loans to:

1. these types of loan.

2. these type of loans.

Please help me out

That phrase is not grammatically correct because these is plural, and must modify a plural noun.

You could use "this type of loan," but then there would be a mismatch between the phrase and its antecendent - the different kinds of mortgages (A mortgage is a loan.).
