Plural of Hyphenated Words

What is the plural of gin-and-Tonic? ride-along?

Top answer

"gin and tonics" "ride-alongs" I don't think I would hyphenate "gin and tonic" or use a capital. Still, I guess hyphenation isn't actually wrong.

Cheer up, Mr. W. After a few of those gin and tonics, you won't care one but about those capital letters!

As a side note, not all hyphenated words just take an s.
