Plural issues

If I have 6 red apple and 1 green apple, how do I make it into a single sentence without repeating the word "apple"?

*Note: The green apple has to come after the red apple

1. I have 6 red and 1 green apple.
2. I have 6 red and 1 geen apples.

Is there a better way of phrasing it?
Thank you.
