*Plural formS of TRAINING and RESEARCH*

I often get into a fight with guys who insist on adding S to form the plural of TRAINING, and ES to "pluralize" RESEARCH. Are they correct in doing such?

Anonymous I often get into a fight with guys people I presume you've come across females who do that too! Or do you just not get into "fights" with women? You're right; those are not the best words in the world.

  • I've come across "trainings" before, but not "researches" (as a plural noun).

AnonymousAre they correct
I don't like them, and I am reluctant to say they are 'correct'. However, I hear them so often that I am beginning to feel it's about time I learnt to accept them.
