Plural form

In the sentence below:

Prepare work tools including working light, toxic gas detector, stepladder, scaffold planks, tiger rope and broom
************************************************************************

Plural form is only used for scaffold plank because multiple scaffold planks must be used while a single piece may do for other items.

Is the sentence correct in terms of singular / plural grammar?
