I always run into singular form of acronyms, e.g field-programmable gate array(FPGA). But the following sentence actually needs plural form for the aconym. So my question is should I use the plural form for both the original name and the acronym? And should there bt a space between the original name and the parentheses?
"... is a world leader in field-programmable gate arrays(FPGAs), semiconductor devices that can be programmed after manufacturing."
Thank you!
