Plss check my grammer

i jus wanted to ask u dat weather this sentence has any grammer mistake
: the sentence goes as follows
" If we read equality as our right then why not follow it !"

When you use things like "u dat" it's hard to believe you care about proper English at all. I would put a comma after the word "right" but I don't understand the sentence.

As an aside, perhaps "practice" would be a better word than "follow."

Grammar GeekWhen you use things like "u dat" it's hard to believe you care about proper English at all.
Sometimes, it makes me feel like why I'd even bother to answer questions written by people who didn't even at least try to take the time to form a simple question.
