People say that reading for pleasure helps people to develop imagination and better language skills than watch TV. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
From a social perspective, some individuals believe that reading for pleasure helps people to exceed imagination and better language skills than watch TV. I totally agree with this idea.
To begin with, it is a good idea to have a habit of reading books on a daily basis. First, it allows you to broaden your literary horizons. To illustrate, a success story of some entrepreneurs around the world tend to inspire the young generations, have more compassion, and sometimes come highly recommend. Second, it enables people to sharpen their knowledge and stick in their minds about what they have read over the life of people from all walks of life or some good qualities of characters. This will help their imagination fly as well as have a chance to read between the lines after having exposure to a number of books.
On the other hand, I believe that watching television is just the way which helps people let off excess energy which entertained people more than educate them. First, a great number of channels broadcast many programs brings the entertainment for people after a hard-working day. To illustrate this, there are many live shows which help people reduce stress rather than obtains knowledge like The voice. Second, persons tend to watch TV with lively actions causing the limitation of imagination. For instance, many famous novels are converted into films was attracted to a variety of people but it almost eliminates the memory as well as the imagination of audiences.
To sum up, I believe people should increase the habit of reading books because of their benefits they bring about instead of watching so much television to broaden their horizons to certain extent.
