Pls rephrase this: 10 words

Hi,

Would you rephrase the part I underlined? It is from the ending part of a story of a hotel clerk, and I'd like to make sure if I'm reading it correctly. (could be some kind of jokes but I don't get it)

"Not one nasty thing has ever come out of his mouth. One of the night bellmen has stories of pushing him (Kieffer Sutherland) on the bell cart up to his room. I'll bring him along on the tour in Los Angeles."

Thank you,
M

mitsuwao23 One of the night bellmen has stories of pushing him (Kieffer Sutherland) on the bell cart up to his room. " It's hard to say for sure without a bit more context. What do you think is his reason for taking him on the tour?

  • mitsuwao23 One of the night bellmen has stories of pushing him (Kieffer Sutherland) on the bell cart up to his room.
  • " It's hard to say for sure without a bit more context.
  • What do you think is his reason for taking him on the tour?
  • Is the idea that Kieffer is staying in the hotel and is often very drunk?
  • I agree that the underlined sentence has the flavor of a humorous aside, but without context, I'm not sure I get it.

Hi Avangi, thanks for the reply, I was about to repost it actually.

I'll past the whole "thing" (I wouldn't say it a story) so please let me know what you think. The author sometimes puts completely an messy sentence and I kind of think this is one of those.

Kieffer Sutherland. Wow. Great guest. Always closing down the hotel bar. Just a complete pleasure to be around. Not

I'm still stuck. If the last sentence is an aside, I think it should be in parentheses. In other words, it doesn't relate directly to his narrative. (Ha! By the way, I think I 'll take this guy with me.)

Do you have any idea if he wants to take the bellman or Keiffer? Or how he gets time off from his job to go on tour?

I was hoping you'd come up with some information

No, I have no idea if "he" means the bellman or Keiffer, and what kind of tour it is. This is the only chapter he mentions Keiffer and "the" tour. Maybe I should give it up and give up the author, too.

have you seen this? It's actually from the same book. You'd agree if you saw it.

And sorry for getting yo
