pls help me to correct my letter

I would like to apply for a job position, I will appreciate it if you could help me to improve my job request to be more official.

Dear Prof. ...,

I would like to apply for permanent job position in your department.I am in third year of my PhD studies in Belgium.I do research about Animal Physiolgy and Ecotoxicology.During my study in Belgium I successed to submit some papers in international jounals as stand in my cv and I will try to finish my study on time. I was an undergraduated studentd of you as well .I have been invited to work in some other universities as well but I prefer to work in your department where I found it more related to my background.I enclosed my cv .I will grately appreciate your consideration. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi Martin, I have a couple of remarks: Remember that you should hit space twice after full stops. You should use a spell checker to ameliorate your letter. g.

I have a couple of remarks:
  • Remember that you should hit space twice after full stops.
  • You should use a spell checker to ameliorate your letter.
  • Try to avoid awkard clauses (e.g. "as stand in my cv")
  • It does not sound very professional to say that you will "try" to finish your studies betimes!
