Letter Writing

Pls help me on how to write a salary increment letter.

First of all I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for accommodating me as a member of the sparrow online team. I have been working with the team for the last 2 year and 10 Months, I have been given only a small increment that too 2 years ago. I would request you to support me by increasing my salary. And during which I have been able to learn extensively. After having acquired the required knowledge, I consider that the time has come when I need to move upwards in position. Moving up will help me implement my learning to the advantage of the company.
At this stage of my career a promotion would be very motivating for me and encourage me to put in more towards the prosperity of the company. I pledge my dedication and sincerity to the company and remain optimistic that the company will offer me a break in serving the company in a better position.

I have been working with the team for almost three years, the last 2 year and 10 Months, I have been and in all this time I was only ever given only a one small salary increment, and that was too 2 two years ago. I believe that I have learnt much during the past three years and gained plenty of valuable experience too.
