Pls help me improve my letter of Motivation for IT Master program

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to apply for the Master’s training program in e-Management.

1. The reasons why I am applying for a Master training program

Following the growth of Vietnam’s economy in the recent years, there are a lot of new businesses established, and therefore the needs for IT services are also rapidly increasing in both quantity and quality. Especially, Vietnam is planning to join the World Trade Organization (WTO) by the end of the year 2005, this is not only offering more opportunities but also challenges for local experts and companies providing IT services. With this trend, I think I should well prepare myself for the future. So, joining a Master training program in IT is the first priority now. Further more, I am very interested in ERP, CRM, SCM models, how to develop and deploy them in small and medium Vietnam companies that helps them manage their business more effective, be more competitive. I am very glad when *** and ABCDE coordinate and offer this Master’s program in e-Management. And, I would like to apply for this program.

2. What would I like to do after having this Master degree

Like I mentioned above, local IT service will be facing challenges and the level of competition will be very high, not only with the other local service providers but with also outside of the country. I have an ambition to build my own IT business in the new future which is focusing in e-Commerce and ERP, there fore I am joining the master program with the hope that I will have chances to learn and research a lot about these needs from a business and help them find successful solution for their business. Further more, I would be very happy to have chance to meet with many professors from ABCD who are experts in the field so it is a great opportunity for me to learn from their experiences. Obtaining the master degree specialized in e-Management would be the first step to help me become a certified consultant in the fields. Further more, I would also like to study further whenever I have a chance, so that getting a foreign program can help me access to the further studying programs at ABCD more easier.

3. What is my background helping me obtain the courses

I believe that my years experiences in IT will help me complete this program successfully. During the years, I have 3 years experiences IT/networking, which gave me a lot of knowledge about network and Internet infrastructures. And, more nearly 5 years in software development and project management, I have developed many software applications in various technologies and in different fields. I have a lot of chances to work with different types of businesses and needs for a software systems. In which, I think the most favorite jobs I have ever done is project managers, I love it because it requires to work with people well, communication good, and innovation in problem solving. And, those experience will help me a lot in this course and will help me to do my own business in the futures.
