PLS HELP ME EDIT!!!!

I have a test relating to this story tomorrow...hope some1 can help me edit it...thanz in advance..

" I say I did not do it! The maid is lying," cried Zac.

It all started on that fateful day. It was still quite dark. The sun was still shyly hiding its face behind the horizon, yet in a slow and gentle momentum like a mother caressing a child, it was letting of its steaks of glorious rays. The clouds were like a rainbow, reflecting every colour one's eyes can see. A mixture of soft pink, baby blue, fading purple and glows and balls of swirling orange, forming the round opaque bowl, which contrasted with the mighty blue sea and the glittering crystals that floated on it. Sweet and gentle. This was dawn,

Zac was late. He had been late the whole week, ever since his maid disappeared. He quickly slipped into his shoes and left the house. As he was about to close the door, he heard someone calling him from behind. He turned and realised that it was the police. Thinking that they had found his maid, he walked over.

" Have you found my maid?" asked Zac.

Nodding their heads, the police continued, " The maid had also accused you of molesting her. That is why she ran away."

Upon hearing that, Zac's wide eyes were a pool of sorrow as he felt the austere situation overwhelming him. Thinking that justice will prevail, he agreed to follow them back to the police station.

Soon, even Zac's parents and their family lawyer was at the station. The police started questioning Zac.

" Did you or did you not molest your maid?" questioned the police

" I said I did not do it! The maid is lying," cried Zac for the umpteenth time.

The police had been questioning him since he stepped into the police station. After a few days of investigations, the police came back and told Zac that they would be charging him with molestation. Zac was shocked.

Soon the day of the verdict came. Zac was a bundle of nerves. He knew his chances of winning the case were very low. After a few hours of court session, the members of jury finally came to a verdict.

" We, members of the jury, find Zac guilty of molestation," said one of the members.

Disbelief countered his consciousness as the implications of what he had just heard anchored in him. Tears rolled down his cheeks as he thought, "I really did not molest my maid! Why must she set me up? Isn't there justice?"

What a confusing story! It would be awfully unfair if the verdict was wrong as the damaged caused would have been immense.
