PLS!!! Help me by checking my Writing task 2_ Thank a lot

Topic: Some people think that all teenagers should be required to do unpaid work in their free time to help the local community. They believe this would benefit both the individual teenager and society as a whole.

Do you agree or disagree?

My essay:

Some people believe that youngsters need to do volunteer work in their leisure time because it contributes to social development and individualism. I completely agree with this idea.

First, teenagers can help a great number of people who have a lot of difficulties in their life. Teenagers can take part in charities. For example, in Da Nang city, most students join in Care and Share club which usually organizes charity funds, charity concerts to help the poor. Charities contribute a lot to reduce poor and economic development.

Second, nowadays, teenagers tend to take part in environmental projects. They are beneficial for all members of society. They contribute to reduce global warming and protect the Earth. For instance, Green Environment is one of the best organization in Vietnam which is established by young people. Most of the members are students from high schools and universities in the country. They raise fund for environmental projects, courage people to reduce plastic bag and organize a lot of outside activities to collect the rubbish.

Last but not least, it is possible for youngsters to improve their social skills. They can learn about team-work, talk in public and develop discipline which are necessary for them in the future. In addition, certifications from volunteer work are helpful. They can give students more opportunities for studying abroad because certifications make their curriculum vitae look better.

In conclusion, I believe that all teenagers need to take part in social activities and contribute their abilities as importance on their social responsibilities.
