TOPIC: The diagrams below are existing and proposed floor plans for the redevelopment of an art gallery.
The maps illustrate how an are gallery redevelop.
It's clear that an art gallery changes considerably, with the disappearance of lobby and office and the expansion of special exhibition space, education area and storage area.
The first map shows entrance which is located east of an art gallery in the lobby. The office is near the lobby. In the art gallery center, there are temporary exhibition space and permanent exhibition space. And all of the area which is west of permanent exhibition space is not part of the existing gallery.
The second map shows entrance which will be moved to the north of the art gallery, visitors will walk straight into the exhibition area. An education area and storage area will be built and replaced the lobby and office. The permanent exhibition space will be expanded, followed by the disappearance of temporary exhibition space in the are gallery center. Exhibition store and special exhibition space will be constructed in the west of the art gallery.
